i'm at the station right now, missing New Young Pony Club so i can spin at / watch over the Electronic Music Marathon. there was some kind of dance event upstairs that had nothing to do with us, so the ceiling was gently thumping out of sync with the DJs.

at 10pm, i decided to read IDs, fill out paperwork, let the next DJ in the building, set up the equipment, and beat-match on our cheapo CD players all at the same time. i was doing fine but when people started calling in the middle of mixes, i kind of lost it.

speaking of which, apologies to all the reggae fans for taking over your weekend. don't worry, we'll return the favor when it's time for the Reggae Marathon :)
