Norwegian progressive black/viking metal legends, ENSLAVED, are headlining at the Croc Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA tonight. The tour package is hella lame (Arsis? The freaking Agonist? Ugh) but Enslaved is beyond amazing live, and Philly locals Sil Veth are opening. If you dig great melodic black metal, or are into technical melodic metal (Arsis fans) or are into, uh, crappy generic metalcore with some dumb broad shrieking about the environment (The Agonist; WORST.BAND.EVER.) you should definitely check this one out. The venue's about an hour away from Philly (still beats hauling your ass up to NYC) and tickets are only 13 bucks if you get 'em from Sil Veth!

The last time I saw Enslaved, they were sharing the bill with Dark Funeral and some lame band I can't remember. They blew DF out of the water, and judging by how strong their last effort, Ruun, was, they're sure to put on another mind-blowing show.
