House Of Fire, Live! On WKDU, June 2nd, 3-5PM
Listeners!
Tune into my show on Monday June 2nd, to hear a lovely set local band House of Fire recorded at WKDU for your listening pleasure. Bored at work? Need a breather from the kids without having to look at yourself in the glassy curvature on the bottom of a martini glass? High ball it over to WKDU, and tune in to Brekky Shift, A reasonably safe outlet for afternoon distraction!

Auditory nuggets not enough? The band gives another music offering at the Northstar on the following Friday, June 6th. It is like radio but with the immediacy of The Sims, it's called LIFE. Board game + cereal quips aside, try and make it out, enjoy a live set by... theirs, truly? Ask the barkeep about the illuminated "Levis" sign outside the bar. Or is it "Levis"? If you're sober enough to remember, call in the following Monday! Check it: get soused on the sound, bodyslam all venue round. If their myspace is any indication, this band comes highly recommended from WKDU for you local psych-freak folk(s). If you haven't heard yet, yeah their CD debut is avail. Looks good on the shelf next to the pebbles, nuggets, or whatever those kids call it these days. Psychedelic.. geodes? Amethysts? Greg Shaw was so much better at this stuff.
House of Fire joins the ranks of notable & relevant local and touring bands who have recently played a set on Brekky Shift, also, treacherously, known as: "the center of psychedelphia."
Recent bands include....
Dark Horse & The Carousels
Grubstake
The Asteroid #4
The Anabolics
