Space Is The Place
I put together this show like a story. Some time after the creation of the universe aliens traveled across space, crashed on Earth, and inspired a wellspring of creativity and invention. Years later the aliens returned to find mankind in the apocalyptically apathetic state. The aliens passed judgement on us and destroyed the Earth, but not without saving a few pure souls who they took with them to behold the wonders of outer space. Also the first episode of the BBC's radio program The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. Stay tuned for episode two next week!

This week I set the ambitious agenda of covering the evolution of music from Son House to Aesop Rock's new single. Though the eighties and nineties were a little smushed and I played the wrong Aesop Rock Song, I think that all went well. Thank you to everyone who called in. Quan, I will track down a recording of that Mingus song for you.
